With everyone around me going back to school or sending their children back to school, I must say… I’m a little jealous. I’m jealous because my three year olds are still too young for school and a few hours of child-free time during the day could really help my sanity sometimes. I’m also a little sad that I’m not heading back to school this fall, because I just got a sweet new tablet with a free Tmobile data plan, and it would really come in handy during class.

I graduated from Aurora University back in May (yay!). I LOVE going to school. I love learning and having conversations with people that are over 3ft tall. It’s an amazing experience. I hated paying for private school, though, so I certainly won’t miss that part. Being a mother, having a full-time work from home gig, and being a full-time single parent certainly made my college experience a little extra difficult.

My tablet was my life during school. The only thing it was missing, was data. I recently picked up the T-Mobile Trio AXS 7.85” 4G Tablet from Walmart and I fell in love. The one thing that sets this tablet apart from any other is that it offers free data for life.

Free. Data. For. Life.

WHO DOES THAT?! Tmobile, apparently. When you buy this tablet you get 200mb of free data that resets every 30 days. You can also purchase more data, no contracts involved, at any time. It’s super easy and the set up took me about 3 minutes from start to.. streaming.

Even though the kids aren’t in school yet and I’m done with school (for now, that Masters is always calling my name…) we are still an On-The-Go family. Today the kids started their very first tumbling class and while I would love to just sit on a bench outside the room and wait for my name to be called for an emergency toddler potty break, I can’t just let an hour pass me by without working on something.

The kids’ class is held at a local park district and is super convenient for us location wise (yay!) but they don’t have wifi (boo!). The Trio AXS is SO convenient to have during their classes. I don’t need A TON of data, because class is short, but I have the capability of signing on to check emails, write blog posts, and edit photos. Plus, it’s only $179. Say what? Yes.

Now, while I was in school I lived and died by my tablet. My two favorite apps to use are Evernote and my Kindle app. Evernote was life changing for me. I can take all of my notes for class or work projects. I can create presentations. I can organize my. entire. life. So necessary for someone like myself that LOVES to make lists and keep notes. It can also sync across all platforms such as mobile, tablet, and computer.

I also loved the Kindle app, because e-textbooks are the wave of the future. If there was any way that I could get my hands on an electronic version of my textbooks for class, I would. They alleviate the stress of forgetting your books. You don’t have to carry around heavy backpacks, and they are totally searchable. Searchable textbooks… it almost feels like cheating. Almost. 😉

Thanks so much to my favorite blogging network #CollectiveBias for giving me the opportunity to team up with the #TabletTrio and providing this post for you. 🙂
