Mariano’s has obviously won over my heart. They are undoubtably my favorite store in Chicagoland when it comes to food. Many months ago I traveled to the Arlington Heights location and fell in love with the entire experience. Recently, I took a trip back to that Arlington Heights store for their Customer Appreciation Celebration and 3rd Anniversary.
It’s hard to believe this amazing store has only been around for three years. The first Mariano’s was opened in Hoffman Estates in 2010 – this is where the Anniversary celebration stems from. I hardly thought they needed to do anything special for us, as customers, because you can see how much they appreciate us by the amount of detail and care put into each store.
This store has some of my favorite things at Mariano’s like Vero Gelato, a huge ready made hot foods area, a big bakery variety, and a pharmacy to pick up my Diabetes medicine when I overdo it on the sugar! (Kidding, but they really do have a pharmacy.) 😉
But, in true Mariano’s fashion, they went above and beyond for this year’s celebration. There are three parts in this Customer Appreciation Celebration.
Part 1: Customer Appreciation Rewards
From July 18 – October 19 ’13 you can celebrate Mariano’s 3rd anniversary by earning 1% cash back with your Mariano’s Rewards card.
For every $50 in qualified purchases you spend totaling $650 or more during this time you will receive 1% cash back in the form of an electronic discount deducted from a future purchase from October 20-November 2, 2013.
Part 2: Live Well Sweepstakes
Cash back is great… but super awesome prizes is even more great! The Live Well Sweepstakes is going on from July 18 – August 11 ’13. And entering this amazing sweepstakes is easy. You will receive one entry per every purchase during the dates listed above.
You’ll want to make sure that your contact info registered with your Mariano’s Rewards Card is up to date because winners will be contacted by email. You can update your info and register for a card at the Rewards Card Kiosks located near the front of the store.
So what are the amazing prizes you ask.. let me break it down.

Part 3: Share a Taste Contest
The Share a Taste of Mariano’s Contest is one more way that Mariano’s is celebrating their 3rd Anniversary. For this contest you don’t even need to travel to a Mariano’s store. You are to upload a photo of your food creation from Mariano’s and you’ll be entered to win a cooking experience and dinner with a celebrity chef! And you can invite 9 friends to join you.
In addition, 6 other winners will receive a $25 Mariano’s gift card. You can upload your photo through August 3rd and vote for your favorites from August 4-11.

I’m excited to see what’s to come from Mariano’s in the coming years. I know they are bound to grow exponentially. Mariano’s continues to be such an awesome experience every single time I visit. I’ve been to about seven different locations now and they are all consistently amazing. If I had to pick any particular store to be #MyMarianos, it would have to be the Arlington Heights location because it holds the memories of my first time visiting.

I love how much Mariano’s appreciates their customers and are always pleasant and show they care when shopping at their stores. 🙂 It is the BEST grocery store experience!
I have only been to the Benton Place store. It is, and I have told everyone I speak with, the best grocery store I have ever been in. I am a 65 y/o businessman and couldn’t dream of myself raving about a grocery store, but that is what I find myself doing. I have dragged my friends there even though they thought I was nuts to take them to a grocery store. Every one of them has fallen in love with the place.
