Bikini Belly

I’ve partnered with Aerie and ShopStyle to bring you this sponsored blog post.

I’m back and ready to show out with another set of swimsuits from my fave – Aerie. I’ve been completely swamped with work these last couple of months but there is an end, or a break, in sight! The kids are on Spring Break next week and the whole family needed to re-up on some new swimsuits before our little vacay.

I fell in love with this embroidered one piece swimsuit. The top half has removable pads and can be scooted together or apart to accommodate different busts. The booty is totally full coverage and it looks pretty freaking amazing from behind.

I loved this style so much, I got it in a two piece as well. The top is a bandeau style that can be adjusted a bit, like the one piece. You can also choose to tie it around your neck I you’re looking for some added support. The bottom is the perfect high-waisted match, with plenty of booty coverage. I was a little bit nervous that the white would be see-thru once I was fully wet but we tested it out and all my lady lumps were still perfectly concealed post-dip.

By now, I’m sure you guys realize how much I love Aerie’s swimsuits. I’ve been showing you new selections every month this year and I’ve definitely picked up quite a few winners. This month, I wanted to test out something a little different and go for a set that wasn’t my usual style.

This high neck bikini top had me a little nervous, because I don’t usually love the look of this style on my body. Not only was the print beautiful, but the fit was totally on point. I might just go back and pick it up in this cute little print too.

The bottoms were the truly terrifying part, though. Cheeky high cut bikini bottoms on this body?! No, ma’am. But I tried them anyway, and there wasn’t a mirror at the pool that allowed me to see how I looked in them. So, I could only, initially, remark on how I felt in them… and I felt great. My photographer that day, aka my boyfriend, assured me I looked great in them. But I was still uneasy about them, until I saw the photos!

I LOVE the cut of these bikini bottoms. If you’ve ever shied away from this style because you have a belly and don’t think they’ll work, give them a shot. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I have of course, joined Aerie in their Love The Swim You’re In Campaign so these photos are all completely un-retouched. Their mission to inspire us all to love and accept our own bodies is one that I continue to stand behind. You can join us in this campaign by sharing your own 100% un-retouched swim photo with the tag #AerieREAL @Aerie, and Aerie will donate $1 (now up to $50,000!) to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA). #AeriePartner
