The Shedd Aquarium has always been one of my favorite Chicago attractions so I was excited to take the kiddos on a Sea-Venture there this past week. They usually go once a year with their summer camp, but this trip to the aquarium was especially exciting because we got to tour some super special exhibits with Abercrombie & Fitch.
Before the event, I picked out some new outfits from Abercrombie Kids for Nahla and Jaden. Nahla is beyond obsessed with unicorns and when I saw pink and grey unicorn jacket, I knew she had to have it. She loved it, wore it to the event, and hasn’t taken it off since.
Whenever I shop for my kids, I try and make sure that their clothes are cute, comfortable, and most importantly – can handle play time. I can’t stand when they come home from school sporting holes on the knees of their sweats and leggings because they went extra hard during recess that day. That’s not a problem for us with our Abercrombie Kids’ outfits. I picked up some great new sweats with reinforced knees for Jaden and a few pairs of leggings made with Tough Cotton for Nahla.
The kids had a pretty unbelievable time at the Shedd Aquarium and their favorite part was meeting some new friends… We hung out with a sea lion, got kissed by a cute little beluga whale named Bella, and got to get up close and personal with some teeny tiny penguins. It was the Sea-Venture of a lifetime!
I’m not sure they would hang with this big guy again…
They LOVED feeding and petting Bella the beluga. Nahla said “she feels like a hard boiled egg!”
Jaden’s favorite exhibit was the shark tank!
