Falling Back Into Fashion

The fall is officially back and I couldn’t be more excited! I dream about the leaves changing and the temperature dropping all year round. In preparation, I’ve been overhauling my closet and bringing in some key new pieces for my fall wardrobe. I’ve partnered with Macy’s to show you a couple of great new outfits that are perfect for a leisurely day of grocery shopping or a fun night out.

With school in full gear, I’ve been busier than ever. I really thought that having my kids in school 7 hours a day would mean a lot more free time for me, but I was wrong. Our schedules are full of after school activities, fundraisers, scouts meetings, and PTA responsibilities. Being super mom is no easy task.

When I open my eyes at 6am and start getting us all ready for the day, I have two things in mind: comfort and functionality. I need an outfit that can take me from parent drop-off line at school, to grocery shopping, to midday meetings with my team, and coffee dates with my Macbook. Ideology Slimming Leggings, a loose fitting top Style&Co both Exclusive at Macy’s, some Nikes, and a quality Levi’s jacket with lots of pockets is my go-to look.

I do like to get away sometimes and spend a night out. Usually, I opt for a classic body con when I’m heading out for a date but when I’m trying to be a little more casual, I dress up some jeans and call it a day. These Melissa McCarthy jeans are LIFE CHANGING. I’ve been raving about them since I first tried them on about a year ago. Her entire line is seriously amazing. This entire outfit is from the Melissa McCarthy line. I’m completely in love with the style, the high quality, and AMAZING fit.
