So.

12 out of 31… not too shabby, eh?

If you’ve been following along you know that I was not able to complete my 31 days challenge. I have failed my challenge.

Why have I besmirched the name of Ravings By Rae, you ask? Why have I promised to complete a literary challenge and then faulted less than half way through? Let me tell you why.

It’s all Roseanne’s fault. I spent a solid 30 hours of my “free” time in the last two weeks doing an extensive research paper and presentation on the roleย Roseanne played in American television.

Was it worth failing my challenge for…? You betcha! I earned a solid “A” on the paper, the presentation, and the class overall. Something I am proud of and I am happy that I didn’t totally procrastinate.

For what it’s worth… I also received an “A” in the other class I was taking. So, two A’s in classes that cost me about $5,000 versus failing my challenge. For once, I think I made the right call.

I’ve just started up two new classes but I think I’ll be able to find some blogging time in these next couple of weeks before they get too intense… which is good news because I have read at least a half dozen books that I have yet to review!

I’ve also just started what is shaping up to be a great series. The first book is called “Avoiding Commitment” if you want to check it out.
