Summer Beauty Makeup Tips [Video Tutorial]

I’ve had so many requests to do a video about my summer beauty makeup tips, and I have finally delivered. I’ve tested out dozens of new beauty products this summer and found a few new favorites. While I was in Los Angeles last weekend, my makeup and hair had to stand up against some long hot days.

Right before heading to LA, I dropped by Walgreens to re-up on some of my faves. I’ve been obsessed with the L’Oreal Collection Privee Lipsticks this summer. They are creamy, smooth, long-lasting, and gorgeous.

I’m also a huge fan of Maybelline mascaras. I go through bottles of mascara like it’s going out of style… although it never will, because that would be heartbreaking. The Mega Plush and Falsies Volume Express mascaras are two of my all time favorites. I pile them on my lashes, even when I apply falsies. They give them a little extra oomph, and it lasts all day long.

After trying at least 10 different foundation and concealer routines, I’ve finally settled on one that I LOVE. I’ve been using CoverGirl’s TruBlend liquid makeup (i2) and FixStick (Fair). I’m also loving the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer. I’m not the type of girl that touches up her makeup throughout the day, so I NEED skin that’s going to stay flawless without being high maintenance.

In order to keep my skin in order, I always use a primer. I’ve been loving the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. I normally use a high end primer but spending $30 on one product every month gets old… fast. As much as I love shopping for makeup, I hate spending a bunch of money on it.

I try to keep my haircare routine as fuss free as possible. I’ve been using the L’Oreal Advanced Haircare Volume Filler Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner. I looove the way it smells, and my hair feels healthier after each wash. I recently picked up the It’s  a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product and had NO idea what to do with it, after asking my Instagram friends, I realized there is really no wrong way to use it.

I’ve been spraying It’s a 10 all over my hair before styling it, and it creates shine and silkiness. In the video below, I show you my favorite makeup routine and my go-to no-fuss glam summer hair. Everything I mention in the video is totally affordable and from #WalgreensBeauty.
