I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about the Skinny Limits 3-day Raw Juice Cleanse and I just had to test it out for myself. I’ve been seeing all of these rave reviews but I couldn’t stop asking myself two questions: does the Skinny Limits Raw Juice Cleanse work and does it taste good? Or at least, not bad.
As soon as went to place my order, I knew that this juice cleanse was something different. All Skinny Limits juices are made fresh to order and they’re delivered immediately after being produced. You can only have the juices delivered Tuesday-Friday and you MUST start the cleanse the day after receiving them, at the latest.
They arrived around noon and I immediately went to work finding a place for all (18) 16 ounce bottles in my refrigerator. I loved that the bottles are numbered, so as to not get off schedule or get confused.
I received 9 of the Pure & Simple Green Juice which is my first, third, and fifth juice of the day. There were 3 of each of the following: Balance (Juice #2), Scorpion Lemonade (Juice #4), and Crescent Moon (Juice #6).
From the moment I started my juice cleanse, I knew I was going to love it. The Pure & Simple juice is made of kale, spinach, parsley, cucumber, apple, and lemon and you know what…? It’s freaking delicious. It tastes EXACTLY like the fresh juice I normally make every morning. I was blown away with how fresh and delicious this juice is. It gives me the same great boost of energy as my regular morning juice, without all the work.
I was afraid that these Skinny Limits Juices were going to taste like those other guys that are sold in the refrigerated section and claim to be “fresh” and “healthy” for you. They taste nothing like those other guys. These Skinny Limits were so surprisingly good. I love that these juices are made with no preservatives (they’re also Vegan and Gluten-Free). The fact that they don’t have preservatives does mean that they will spoil within quickly, but it’s totally worth it for the amazing flavors.
My favorite actually turned out to be the Scorpion Lemonade. Holy cow, I’ve never tasted anything like it. Spicy lemonade? Yes, please. I’m planning on attempting to replicate this one on my own, the taste was so addicting! It’s made with lemons (duh), agave nectar, cayenne, and filtered water.
The Balance juice tasted very similar to the Pure & Simple as their ingredients are almost identical. Balance has kale, spinach, parsley, cucumber, apple, lemon, and ginger.
I’ve heard lots of people raving about the Crescent Moon Juice… but it just wasn’t for me. It sounds delicious with ingredients like raw cashes, vanilla bean, cinnamon, agave nectar, coconut oil, himalayan sea salt, and filtered water BUT I don’t do coconut. This was a little too milky for my tastes.
Now I know you have a burning question that you are just dying to ask. Go on. Say it.
“Did you lose any weight?!”
My answer… I have no idea. I didn’t weigh myself before or after. I’m not overly concerned with the number on the scale. I just want to have energy and know that my body feels good. Because I gave up caffeine months ago, and I’m a regular juicer… I didn’t have any headaches or adverse side effects while on this cleanse. It certainly, um, cleanses you.
All in all, I’m totally satisfied with this cleanse. I love the fact that it tastes SO fresh and similar to my regular juices. The Skinny Limits 3-day Raw Juice Cleanse is a definite LOVE IT! The only thing I don’t love is the price. This 3-day juice cleanse will run you about $177, ouch. If you’re looking to reenergize and cleanse out all that funkiness, though, I would definitely say it’s worth the investment in yourself and you won’t be disappointed!
This sounds really interesting. I’ve been looking around at different juice cleanses, but I’ve been apprehensive to try one because I’m big on taste–healthy or not, it needs to taste good or I won’t eat/drink it. Plus, the cost of some of them kind of scares me away–since I’d much rather have a product already prepared for me instead of doing it myself. The easier it is for me to get from start to finish, the more likely I’ll actually cross the finish line, you know? This one is definitely more expensive than I’d like, but if it really tastes as good as you make it sound, it might be worth it. I’ll definitely keep this one on my radar.
