I’m obsessed with my hair. Over the last few years, I’ve really started to be conscious about the products I’m using on my hair because I hate having ratty hair. I’ve also been trying to grow my hair out for years and it’s really hard to if you don’t pay attention and treat your hair right. So I’ve been trying… but I’m not perfect.
Sometimes I go six months between trims. Do you know what six months of flat irons, curling irons, and other super high heat products will do to your hair? It will fry it. Straight crisp that mug.
So in addition to trying to visit my hair dresser on a more regular basis, I also like to use products on it that will help keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. I ALWAYS use a heat protectant when I’m styling my hair with tools but not all heat protectants were designed equally.
Some heat protectants leave my hair feeling oh so greasy and they seriously weigh my hair down. My hair is pin straight and super thin, I don’t need any help making it lay straight on my scalp. Um, no.
A few weeks ago, I started using the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Hair products and I’ve fallen in love. If you know me, you know I hate commitment. This is why I never commit to certain brands or products but if I absolutely had to choose one brand to use forever and ever, it would be Neutrogena.
This Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream has been giving me LIFE lately. It’s a heat protectant (score!) and a really silky conditioning cream that feels totally weightless when applied on wet or dry hair. I use this stuff every single day. I make sure to rub it into my ends because that is where most of the damage happens.

Current Hair Care Routine:
Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo – three times a week
Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner – twice a week
Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask – once a week
Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream – applied before styling and right before bed I will apply to ends and braid hair
That’s it. I seriously haven’t been using anything else on my hair for almost a month now and it’s been vibrant and healthy-looking. Plus omg this stuff smells ahhmazing.

Quick and Easy Style:
I’ve been on the run a lot lately, and when I’m not getting all dolled up for a photoshoot, I’m usually bare boning my hair style. This is my go-to super fast and easy style.
Step One: Look at your hair in the mirror for a few seconds and be happy that at least it’s clean. Then apply about a quarter size amount of leave-in treatment.
Step Two: Get that flat iron out and give your hair a quick run through. It’s quick for me, because I have straight hair. If you have curly hair… you’ll want to carve out an hour for this step haha.
Step Three: Slip in a headband. Bust out that teasing comb. Spray down your roots and get to tangling. Isn’t it funny that we purposely knot our hair just to make it bigger? Women. I’ll never understand them. Err- I mean us.
Step Four: Work it, girl.
I’m really into having a totally fresh face and fuss free hair care routine these days. Because when it comes to dealing with my hair… ain’t nobody got time for that.
