I spent the last weekend in Chicago and the weather was absolutely beautiful. I love the city and always make sure to find my way there at least once a month for some dining, shopping, or an event. In July, I visited Chicago for a blogging conference which was a lot of fun. In August, I’ll be attending “A Magnificent Taste” Culinary Event  presented by MasterCard.
“A Magnificent Taste” is part of The Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival in Chicago. All of these events are part of Priceless Chicago and presented by MasterCard. I spent a lot of time on Michigan Ave. last weekend and I’m itching to go back. The Magnificent Mile is definitely something to behold.
The event is sure to be amazing. “A Magnificent Taste” boasts a line-up of celebrity chefs including Art Smith and Top Chef’s Rick Bayless. Along with 18 of Chicago’s finest restaurants including Table Fifty-Two, David Burke’s Primehouse, The Peninsula Chicago, and my favorite cupcake joint in the world, Magnolia Bakery.
I love that MasterCard has made it possible to attend amazing events like this one. Priceless Chicago offers a new level of culture, adventure, and discovery just for MasterCard cardholders. I’ve always loved being a MasterCard cardholder and perks like this make me especially happy to be one.
The Magnificent Mile’s annual outdoor culinary event takes place under a beautiful tent in full view of scenic North Michigan Avenue. The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in Chicagoland this last week and I hope it keeps up through August because this event will take place Tuesday, August 27.
Any of my fellow Chicagoan MasterCard cardholders can purchase a ticket to this magnificent event. A general admission ticket is $125 and allows you access to the event from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, when it ends. You’ll get to enjoy delicious food from these amazing chefs from all over Chicago.

I took a peek at the photos from last year’s “A Magnificent Taste” and they were mouth watering. Not only does the food look delicious, it really looks like a fun time. There’s music, food, and the beautiful back drop of Chicago. If you’re looking to enjoy a night in Chicago that you won’t soon forget I highly suggest you snag a ticket.
I am incredibly excited for this event. I think it’s so cool that MasterCard makes it a point to have special events like these that are a part of Priceless Chicago. “A Magnificent Taste” is bound to be… Magnificent!
August 27th can’t come soon enough. I am so ready to devour all of the deliciousness that these chefs have to offer. And I will, of course, have a blog post with lots of pictures following the event. So, look forward to that.
