It’s Father’s Day! What better way to celebrate the dad’s in our lives, than to feed them? For this Father’s Day I whipped up a delicious and flavorful sandwich sure to please the man in your life.
This focaccia sandwich is so incredibly full of flavor and quick and easy to make. I love to use different breads for my sandwiches so that they already have that awesome flavor packed in.
What You’ll Need-
- Focaccia Bread – sliced in half
- 1 mashed avocado (salted to taste)
- 3 slices of turkey or chicken
- 3 slices of salami
- Spinach leaves
- Tomato slices
- 2 slices of smoked gouda
- 1 tbs sour cream
Assemble your sandwich in the order in which they are listed and you’re done! This sandwich is so tasty. The smoked gouda and avocado are highly complimentary. 🙂
I used my slice precise from The Good Cook to keep my tomato slices even.
This sandwich knife is perfect for slicing up my hard salami.
I know my dad would’ve loved this sandwich because he loves avocados just as much as I do. See that, two peas in a pod. 🙂

I have never made a sandwich with Focaccia bread before, but this looks absolutely delicious! We love salami though we don’t eat it often. This sandwich would be a special treat. Great pics and thanks for sharing!
