They each got some windmills for when they go outside, candy, jewelry (Nahla), and little fun toys.
Instead of buying traditional baskets we got a couple of small inexpensive buckets. They’re more practical for after Easter. I always hate spending a ton on pretty baskets that just become clutter around the house. These little tubs will be perfect for holding Nahla’s littler hair goodies and small toys.
I didn’t go nuts with the baskets this year, like I tend to do. I think I spent about $30 on both… maybe less. It’s amazing how excited the babies get when presented with a new little bucket of small toys and a few jelly beans. I’ll have to cherish these times because I know when they age their basket standards will surely become more sophisticated. They’ll want Jelly Belly jelly beans and only the best light up yo-yo on the market.
The kids had their first Easter egg hunt last weekend. Jaden didn’t get down and ‘hunt’ but Nahla did. She had her little basket and did her best to fill it up. Luckily, her older cousin, Isaac, was around to help her get some eggs. They kids really seemed to enjoy it and because they got so much candy I wasn’t sure if I was going to make them baskets for Easter but at the last-minute I did.
Baby girl put on her game face when it came to the hunt.
 Fatman… nana nana nana nana
I did my best to take a picture of us while the church had a little singing show going on. Nahla was sitting with her grandma in the front row, of course.
Sorting through their loot after the hunt 🙂
It might be a day late, but Happy Easter everyone! How did you guys spend the holiday weekend?
Happy Easter, Sarah! It was fun seeing you guys on Easter. Great pictures, too!

Thanks Sandra 🙂
Nice pictures of the babies Easter. Nahla did really well with her egg hunt, like you said…her cousin Isaac giving her a helping hand was a plus.

I almost had him fill up Jaden’s basket too but we didn’t need that much candy!
