[New Video] My Break Up Story & Tips on Single Motherhood

I’ve had a number of readers and viewers ask about what happened between my ex-boyfriend and I. You might have “met” him in our boyfriend tag video that I posted earlier this year. We broke up a few months ago and I haven’t really talked about it online. It’s obviously a very personal experience and it’s my life, my real life, that was and still is affected by it.

Because so many of you have asked about us and asked about what happened and whether or not we will get back together, I thought I would share my story. I don’t get into every single detail because it’s embarrassing and personal but I do touch on the cheating that happened.

Aside from telling my break up story, I wanted to make this video to inspire some confidence in other women and mothers out there who might need it. Leaving my relationship was not easy, but as I explain in the video… I have managed to transition to single motherhood quite well. And I share what has helped make me feel confident in my decision and tips on what you should do if you’re in a similar situation.

My life is still a mess sometimes. The break up is still fresh and the future seems so incredibly uncertain. But I’m taking all of the necessary steps to create a better and more secure life for myself and my kids. Even though I felt like a failure as a woman, a mother and an adult after my break up, I am undoubtably on the path to much bigger and better things in my life.

This isn’t my typical video topic. It’s also quite long. So, if it’s not something you are interested in seeing I can totally understand that. I have another video to drop on Thursday (Conair Curl Secret review) and another outfit post this weekend, stay tuned for those!

I just want to say that I really appreciated your video . I literally found an apartment and a roommate to move out when I found out I was pregnant so I decided to stay home and save the money in preparation for my son . my feeling of being stuck is how can I pay rent in an apartment by myself or whoes going to help watch my son while I work . I’m taking steps & measures now to prepare for a worst case scenario & it’s good to see a single mom whoes doing it on her own . thanks again !
