Fruity Green Juice Recipe + [[Giveaway!]]

Fruity Green Juice Recipe @RavigsbyraeI took the plunge and bought a Breville juicer about 2-3 months ago. Best purchase ever, seriously. It has helped me seriously reduce my caffeine intake. My Breville took the spot of my coffee maker on the counter and I only have coffee when I’m running errands, now. It’s insane how much energy you can get from soaking up all those nutrients in juice.

We started making a lot of varieties of carrot juice, but I’m progressively getting greener. If you’re looking for an awesome green juice to try but don’t know if you can take the green juice taste… I highly suggest this recipe. As you can see from the picture, it’s a light green juice with a seriously fruity flavor.

Fruity Green Juice Recipe @Ravingsbyrae

You’ll need-

  • 3-4 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 lemons peeled
  • 2 oranges peeled
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 16 oz. spinach or mixed greens

Put it all in your juicer and watch your juice come to life. I usually let mine sit in the freezer for 20 minutes or pour directly over ice before drinking.

Now, sometimes I over estimate my fruits and veggies. Sometimes I peel way too many lemons, oranges, or pineapple. Luckily, I have some pretty awesome fruit and veggie keepers from The Good Cook that help keep my stuff nice and fresh until my next juicing day. They definitely help keep my foods fresher longer – than using baggies or traditional storage. With regular ol’ food storage I tend to forget what’s in the containers. That is definitely not a problem with my new keepers!

They are shaped like the fruit or vegetable that they are meant to hold. How freaking awesome is that? I’m not here just to brag about my new keepers, I’m actually offering my readers a chance to win their very own set!
